Warner Brothers- ‘Edge of Tomorrow’
Junior Modelmaker within the Prop Modelling department. I assisted in assembling and maintaining the prop costumes, also helped dress Tom Cruise into his Exo-suit on set.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
2011 – Mattes & Miniatures – 1 Week
A fellow student and I painted over 12,000 scaled roof tiles for a miniature mansion used for Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows Production.

2011 – Event Prop Hire – 1 Week
I Helped in sculpting large polystyrene props. I refurbished a tree that was used on the 2011 season of Big Brother.

2011 – Prop Shop Ltd – 4 Weeks
I was part of a large team assisting to cast, clean up, paint and flock hundreds of scaled-up leaves and vines for Jack & the Giant Slayer feature film.

2010 & 2011 – 3 Mills Studio – 4 Weeks
Within the mould department of the puppet hospital, I helped with, casting, trimming and seaming character body parts on Tim Burton’s stop-motion animation, ‘Frankenweenie’.

2010 – Creation Workshop Ltd – 4 Weeks
Utilised my moulding, casting and art-working skills, working on props for Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, this educated me in team skills and deadline management.

Moulding and casting – including materials such as polyurethane and polyester resins, fibreglass and silicone.
Workshop machinery – including table/circular saw, lathe and mill.
CAD software and machinery – including Rhinoceros, 3ds Max, CNC machine and laser cutters.
Sculpting with waxes, oil and water based clays.
Detailed finishing, spraying and artworking.
Basic metalwork skills – including spot and MIG welding, soldering and casting.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Walking – I trekked to the summit of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Ben Nevis and Mt. Snowdon. I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, in the summer of 2012.  I find these experiences challenge my mental and physical strength.
